Portland Assessments Supports Inclusive Employment at Portland Charity Conference

a group of men and women conversing around a promotional table.

India, from Portland Assessments had a fantastic time attending the Employability Conference hosted by Portland Charity on Thursday, which focused on inclusive employment and creating opportunities for disabled people across our communities. It was a great opportunity to promote our Workplace Neurodiversity Environmental Assessments to a wide range of employers, who are looking to adopt a more inclusive approach to their recruitment processes.

It was great to be part of such an inspiring event, which showcased the impact of Portland Pathways and brought together local employers and partners who share a commitment to building a more inclusive workforce. Our team enjoyed meeting delegates at the Portland Assessments stand, where we shared information, resources and flyers, and had some brilliant conversations with businesses interested in accessible and inclusive recruitment.

We also heard from a range of engaging speakers, including keynote speaker Minister of Social Security and Disability, Sir Stephen Timms, alongside organisations such as National Trust, East Midlands Chamber, Policy Connect and Karten Network, who all highlighted the importance and benefits of inclusive employment.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to speak with us – we look forward to continuing the conversation and supporting employers to make their workplaces more inclusive.
