Neurodiversity Pre-Diagnostic Screenings
Private Pre-Diagnostic Autism & ADHD Screening in Nottinghamshire
Wondering whether you might be autistic, have ADHD, or both?
Our pre-diagnostic screening is a first step to explore whether you show autistic or ADHD traits, helping you access some support and decide whether a full diagnostic assessment would be beneficial for you.
We aim to complete your assessment within a maximum of 13 weeks of you contacting us, compared to the years often faced through the NHS. It’s a faster way to start getting answers with the help of qualified professionals.
We know reaching out can feel daunting. Our consultations are relaxed, informal, and led by you.

Questionnaire, 2-hour consultation and a feedback session
Nottingham Road, Mansfield, NG18 4TJ
What’s Included in Your Pre-Diagnostic Screening
Your screening looks at:
- Autism and ADHD traits – how they present for you specifically
- Sensory processing – sensitivities or seeking behaviours that may be affecting daily life
- Masking and compensatory behaviours – the strategies you may use, often unconsciously, to manage or hide traits, and the impact this can have over time
The process has three stages:
1. Pre-consultation questionnaires
You will complete a series of structured questionnaires in your own time, which our assessors review and analyse before your consultation.
2. 2-hour consultation
This covers your developmental history, mental health, and how your traits affect day-to-day life, using semi-structured questions drawn from recognised assessment methods.
3. Feedback session
We will talk through the traits identified and practical ways to support yourself – this might include sensory strategies, routines and structure, or regulation techniques for anxiety.
What you’ll receive
- A report summarising your screening findings, which you can use to: support a referral for a formal diagnostic assessment (NHS or private) and request reasonable adjustments at work or university.
- Practical, personalised suggestions for support strategies
- A feedback session talking through the traits and patterns identified
Frequently Asked Questions

Our assessors are trained in autism and ADHD assessment methods, including ADOS-2 and ADI-R, and draw on aspects of these recognised tools during your screening.
